I am not the expert on parenting! I simply know how to coach parents to reach their goals.
A parent coach is a trained professional who helps parents set parenting goals and then gudes parents to reach those goals by assessing the different personality styles in the home and educating them on how they work well together. Most parents are looking for a "How To" book on parenting. They want a manual that reads "when he does [this], then his consequence is [this] and if that doesn't work, try [this]." Well, I hate to tell you, but that doesn't exist. Thats why people turn to a a parent coach. I give parents the tools and information they need to be free from struggle with children, to feel deeply connected and have confidence in their parenting choices. Testimonials "After working with you I feel like I have a better knowledge of what I should do when my 2 year old has a tantrum and how to stay calm. You have been a great help to us and we really appreciate it. It was especially helpful to have the notes from each session e-mailed to us so we could look back over them as a review." - Christine Smiley " I knew that kids watched what their parents did, but I didn’t realize how effective modeling was and how even in subtle ways kids will model their parents’ behavior. My husband and I have been much more aware of our tone and actions towards each other and even towards our dog. We have been offering choices, and they have really been helpful in reducing the meltdowns we have at dinnertime." - Jennifer Wardlaw
